Croissants made by Robots

The New York Times reports a croissant made by robots in New York, which supposedly helps make the croissants more tender. Color me unimpressed, but I'll go try them.

I'd like to try them. Although it saddens me to see that we are losing good quality bakers and the craftsmanship behind it, I'm pretty sure that if I did a blind tasting test on those vs man-made ones, I'd probably go for these.

I can't say for sure but that's how these things work. We all say we like Pierre Herme (which I adore) but then we secretly love Duncan Hines, right?

But seriously, I love to know that something I ate has been touched by human hands and all the love that goes into it, even if it's not perfectly shaped or if it's a little bit less "fluffy" than the robot made croissant.

If you do try them, let us know how they are.
