The debate

Beyond all the anti-Cheney fear mongering, the debate between the President and former Vice President Cheney is actually very good substantively. One wishes, perhaps, that it had happened earlier.

I thought this piece by Jack Goldsmith, analyzing who Cheney is really debating, was good albeit demoralizing for folks like me.

Yeah. I read Greenwald more or less daily, and when you juxtapose his anger and Goldsmith's analysis, the truth of what is going on is quite clear.
