Squid with Feta
Bittman's recipe for squid stew caught my eye recently, but my influences here in Astoria are more greek than anything else, so I converted the idea into a tomato stew with olives, feta and herbs. For textural interest, I added fried calamari - there's nothing like mixing the rustic (homey) with the rustic (junky).
