The industrial food machine and change

A good post from Paul here. I'm especially in agreement with the last paragraph. Simply put, if there are ever going to be major advances in how we treat animals, Mcdonald's is going to lead the way.

Interesting that you mention McDonald's -- not sure if you picked them randomly or because they used to own Chipotle. But when I looked up that relationship as I was writing my post, I was surprised to learn that McDonald's sold all their interests a couple years ago, making a ton of money off them.

Random, mostly because I have an old love affair with McDonald's. But I knew of the Chipotle deal - it has much to do with something I've worked on.
